Garage on Glover
Rush job. The Architectural Review Board in Sag Harbor required some compelling renderings in order to allow a garage to be constructed on one of the properties along Glover street. I had about a week to get it done, but was able to complete the job is about 4 days. The buildings I needed to model were straightforward and simple so that allowed me to put more time towards the details of the structures and environment. In any case, the review board was satisfied and the job was completed in the Summer of 2020.
View of the existing home with the proposed garage to its right. I decided to place the position of the sun to the Northwest in the late afternoon so as to cast a shadow of that large tree onto the street for more realism.
This is a view looking into the yard from the Southeast corner of the proposed garage. Here you can see some of the details I recreated when modeling the existing house.
This is the Northern view of the proposed garage as viewed from the northern entrance of the existing house.
This is the Eastern view of the proposed garage as viewed from the driveway.
View from the Southeastern side of the proposed garage showing the gravel driveway and guest house.
View from walking North on Glover Street. This angle gives the viewer a pretty good idea of how the proposed garage will look to the everyday passerby on the street.
West view of the proposed garage as seen from Glover Street.
View of the proposed garage from the perspective of walking south down Glover Street.
This perspective shows what the property and proposed garage would generally look from the other side of the road.
All 3D models and structures were created by me except where mentioned below. The landscaping and flora comes from various Archmodels collections.
